Charlie and the Chocolate Wrapper Museum

As anyone who has tasted a savory Sprüngli Cru Sauvage or scrumptious Domori Cru knows, chocolate can quickly become an obsession. So, what is one to make of someone who has developed an extraordinary passion for chocolate...wrappers?

Martin Mihál from the Czech Republic has collected a mind-boggling 38,000 chocolate wrappers from some 30 countries. A significant number of these wrappers have been scanned and uploaded to his personal website. Here, for example, is a fascinating page of Frey wrappers dating back to the 1970s. His site is truly comprehensive, but leaves one really important question unanswered: did he get to eat the 38'000 bars as well?
